The screening kit is to be used by women with normal periods. If your periods have returned since giving birth, you can use the test kit. If you still have not had your period, you may have low estrogen which can increase the vaginal pH. Therefore, the screening kit may not be appropriate to use. If you have symptoms and are not having normal periods, see your doctor.

In the unlikely event that this happens, relax and take a deep breath. It's probably just sticking to one side of the vaginal wall. To retrieve it, put one foot up on a stool as if ready to insert a tampon and gently insert a finger into the vagina to feel around for the location of the wand. Once you feel its location, slide two fingers or a finger and your thumb like a pincer into the vagina to grasp the wand and draw it out. If you're having pain or bleeding, or cannot find the wand or retrieve it, see your doctor.
